Mapping March is in full swing, so we've got several maps incoming. And other stuff, too...
Maps:
Tramstation has a new kitchen, with significantly more meal prep space.
ctf_turbine, of Team Fortress 2 fame, is now a CTF map. I'm not sure we ever actually use CTF, but it's funny.
New space ruin: The Faceoff. Explore the aftermath of a bloody conflict between the Syndicate, the Space Russians, and NanoTrasen...
New space ruin: Crashed Mimic Escape Pod. A tiny crashed pod with some danger inside...
New space ruin: Traveller's Rest. A small "pit stop" station for space explorers to rest in.
Refurbished space ruin: Sulaco. The ruin is now bigger, has its own GPS signal, and has some new fluff and minor loot to discover.
New emergency shuttle: the Lance Crew Evacuation System. This very expensive and extremely secure shuttle will ram itself directly into the station on purpose, giving safe access even when departures has been totally destroyed. Just don't get hit by it.
And the other stuff:
Tooltips for the pneumatic cannon.
Traitors can buy a briefcase of cash for just 3 TC, rather than 5.
Defibrillator safeties are no longer disabled by EMPs.
Piñatas no longer get to have their own unique category in the cargo console.
All things that should affect simple animals will also affect basic mobs (thanks Jac!).
Recyclers will no longer recycle the contents of borgs, breaking the roundend screen in the process. They will also not recycle indestructible items like the blackbox under any circumstances.
Regal Rats can now choose whether to lick or scratch people based on their combat mode status.
The bone gel paramedics start with now has 4 uses instead of 1.
The medical borg surgical processor can be used to directly start surgeries without requiring you to also use drapes.
Chainsaw sound effects.
Wisdom cows can be customized by admins with specific wisdom and locations.
Material floor tiles should now have the correct footstep sounds.
Examining active Syndicate bombs should now make it much more obvious how long you have left to run.
Humans will no longer "melt".
Ghost role spawners that are meant to be unlimited are now actually unlimited.
Non-organic humanoids such as plasmamen can be properly implanted again (thanks Jac!).
Tramstation has records consoles again (thanks PL!).
Many types of bullet are now capable of causing puncture wounds. Getting shot is bad for you!
New Janitor item: the access key ring! Any head of staff, through their keycard authenticator, can give this key access to their entire department. This lets the janitor actually clean up a department without needing to be let through every door! Access lasts only 10 minutes. This item is only given to the first janitor to spawn.
Kidnapping no longer destroys implants or nodrop items (thanks Jac!).
Removing a storage implant no longer permanently traps its contents inside of the owner's body.
The flesh heretic's ascended form can now actually hurt mobs with NODISMEMBER, such as golems.
Janitors can buy a wire brush from their vendor, and put it in their belt.
New fire alarm sprite.
The DJ Station and Kosmicheskaya Stantsiya 13 space ruins now work on Linux servers. Yes, these have been missing since we launched Orbstation (thanks Lexi!).
Blood deficiency has been retuned to work better with slime blood. Extra blood bags have been added for people with exotic blood types to receive as mail goodies.
Gondola meat can now properly give you the gondola infusion.
If you cancel naming a painting, it will no longer finalize the painting without a name.
Roundstart xenomorphs spawning from the xenomorph egg station trait will have their own special team, and get an objective to escape containment.
The bioscrambler will now scramble your organs in addition to your limbs (thanks Jac!).
(To go with the above, the bioscrambler x-card has been slightly nerfed - it no longer deletes your limbs, merely throws them off your body, and it deals less toxin damage).
You will no longer do harm when using the wrong tool during prosthetic organ manipulation (thanks Sol!).
