surely these should go in the orbstation ammunition.dm and maybe guns.dm files respectively, so they'll be easier to find.
About The Pull Request
I've finally made it properly canon that no one calls them "lizardpeople", by swapping the majority of mentions of "lizards" to use "tizirans" instead. There are a few exceptions, like the name of the "lizard plushie", where I thought it was fine to not, but I might change those for consistency if requested.
Most notably in this PR, I've finally given tizirans a new lore blurb, de-canonizing the human-lizard war from upstream and instead introducing the Tiziran Civil War to the lore - a massive civil war, 30 years ago, that shattered the Empire to pieces. Among other things, this led many refugees toward the Spinward Sector, and possibly even onto our favorite space station. I've also given some acknowledgment to the idea of aquatic Tizirans, though I have not expanded on this.
Finally, many items have had their descriptions changed to fall in line with the new lore and species name. A few of these turned out to be cleanup items that we missed, so they're in the proper files.
Why It's Good For The Game
While some of the upstream Tiziran lore is good, other parts are pretty stinky - most notably, the entire idea of "tizirans were in space centuries before humans but the dumb lizards could not compete with ADVANCED HUMAN TECHNOLOGY and got their asses kicked in a big war like idiots". This reduces tizirans to a backdrop for really unwanted "HUMANITY FUCK YEAH" lore, which is also confusing in that it implies plasma is the single thing responsible for humanity being better than everyone else. It's much more interesting to give an entire species more agency, with their primary conflict instead being internal - contact with humans is a more recent development!
Hopefully, this will create a more interesting backdrop for tiziran characters to make use of in their backstories - particularly with the Civil War in such recent memory. Things are also left far more open than in the old lore for tizirans to come from any number of planets and backgrounds.
I'll probably expand on this lore more later, but that won't be in-game.
