You may use quinled controllers or shields from serg74 tindie
I know about quinled, but what i like about the this yawl controller is it being open source and I'm able to order the pcb and components from anywhere. So having the option to add 8266 through headers would be superb. (Ps, love the pcb design )
Something I'm working on @Dunky13 TTGO T-Micro32 board
Have a pcb versions with headers I stead of the soldered esp12f. Either a D1 edition, or a "full size" nodemcu version?
So the pcb is bare board, and a controller can be plugged in.
Useful for people who don't have, or don't want to use an ftdi programming board, or worry about connecting ground to g(nd) and io.
