plots for ranges! #366

We're sharing our range plots at lab meeting this week. @AileneKane @DeirdreLoughnan @legault @DarwinSodhi @md-garner @FaithJones, please bring some plots and thoughts to discuss! Cat's email below... I will try to also!

Here is the beautiful wiki page that Dan has done a great job updating! And you can find some initial plotting code at the bottom of ospree/analyses/ranges/clean_rangesclimatedata.R, starting on line 100.

You can use ospree/analyses/ranges/ranges_climclean.csv to make your own plots.

Hello! @lizzieinvancouver. While plotting the chill portions in ranges_climclean.csv, I realized there is a reoccurring error in Cat's code (ospree/analyses/ranges/clean_rangesclimatedata.R) in line 147 there shouldn't be a function that specifies sd (standard deviation) and again on line 181. I think this only effects the barplot code, should I fix this and remake the plots for tomorrow?

@DarwinSodhi Thanks for this, I suggest checking with @cchambe12 before changing any global code. I will also take a look when I have a chance.
