@MoralesCastilla will work on this. Current estimates are in m in Europe and lat in NA, so need a common metric and file that can be easily merged with climate data.

@lizzieinvancouver This should be fixed now. I have coded a new script to extract extent coordinates (max and min latitude and longitude of each species' range) and transform them to geographic coordinate (lat/long degrees, instead of meters). The code is get_range_extent.R, and the corrected version for european coordinates/extent are range_extent.eusps.corr.
