work on refs for text #12

@dbuona @cchambe12 I just finished some edits per issue #8 and wanted to suggest a plan for getting refs added. Here's my idea, which you can adjust as you like:

  1. @dbuona Reviews text and makes some quick edits, then adds in a bib file to the repo with any obvious refs (and add those to main text if he knows were).
  2. I or @cchambe12 take a first stab at adding refs and then the other does it after.
  3. We're hopefully close to done then and can just assign remaining gaps to each other and @DeirdreLoughnan .

Reminder to me: I have a folder on my computer called `whatisendofseason' that we should probably use.
