Disabling Overscan (for videos) #239

Closed palfrey closed 10 years ago

(I've seen something like this in the Slideshow code, but nothing for videos)

My rather annoying older TV (well, 4 years) for some reason is doing overscan things (in the sense that there's a large picture it knows about but won't display the edges of), but I can't seem to disable it from the TV at all. Is there anyway RARFlix can be told not to output the larger picture instead?

Getting very confused by this at the moment, so anything would be appreciated. Happy to compile/install test versions.

Sorry. It's not an option with the video player. The underscan/overscan setting for photos is not really that either (technically). The setting just resizes the images differently, and that is again, not available for the video player. This is technically something that needs to be done by the TV or maybe something the Roku can do on a later date, if the Roku guys add such feature (but I wouldn't hold my breath)
