Hey LJ, I'm one of Ryan's students. Your guest lecture has been one of my favorites! Your blog and the work you do has also been very inspiring for me. In particular, your research on low-resource NLP and Tagalog motivates me to do the same for Khmer, my heritage language. Further, I really enjoyed your itch.io portfolio (how do you have the time?) and your taste in games is literally top tier. I'm definitely keeping a tab on your blog!

Hi Ryan @wesslen and @ericphann ! Thanks so much for stopping by! I enjoyed the lecture and I had fun during the process. :) Got super busy recently so still wasn't able to upload the video.

As for itch.io: I have less time than I had before, partly because I want to make a game that deviates from what I've done so far (usually pixel-based, 2D, roguelike arcade). I've been learning Blender over the Christmas break just to make easy low-poly PS1-like models but nothing came up on it yet!

Thanks again for the nice comments. Hope we all get to meet in person some time! I'll let both of you know if I'm in the area!
