Is this the default indication that comes in all android devices? #202

Is this the default indication that comes in all android devices?

Or will this be a add-on with the default indication?

One more thing:
I have Micromax Funbook P300 tablet, which shows wrong %age & suddenly switches 
off @ 57%. When i plug the charger, the battery animation starts from 0%. I can 
watch 4 hours of continuous video from 100% (in OFF) to 60% (in ON) [OFF its 
10%].

So, the device will not shutdown and this happened thrice suddenly bcoz, i 
didn't know that this tablet having this problem & got message saying that 
"Encription Failed, data reset" & i lost all the downloaded apps.

So, will this use the exact battery voltage & shutdown the device @ 5% or so?
