we can still use this code for commercial use
we can link this repo to research contributors and make it available after publication (if any)
help of the community
very good for visibility
Opensource project have many free resources (e.g. PR comments compatibles with jupyter notebook instead of 15$/m)
I personally like it more ^^

Con

visibility (if we don't want that... why wouldn't we ?)
"it is not ready yet" (spoiler: it will never be "ready")
people could use our code for commercial use (but then, it will also make this repo better!)
