For the instrumenter.py:

[x] Short circuit instrumentation (on/off)
[x] Switch: Record switch int or switch case number
[x] Instrument return?

For the retracer.py:

[x] Use database?
[x] Database location
[x] Check assertions?

For print_trace.py:

[x] Pretty print, using function names, intendation?
[x] Print trace elements only?

There is already a python module to parse command line arguments, use this.
