DOP-MII Bricked my wii (not from improper usage) #99

What IOS did you use?
IOS36 (default)

What is the first 4 digits of your Wii's Serial Number?
not sure if the letters count so here's the full thing:
LU54702339

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. update wii to the new 4.3 (had my reasons)
2. for some reason, Opera wouldn't rmbr cookies (I think that may be a lead)
3. any installation above system menu 4.0 failed.
4.0 threw a stack trace in mid installation.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I just expected it to work like the many +1's people gave it.

Please provide any additional information below.

I updated to the new 4.3 from the old 4.3 because DIOS-MIOS broke in-game usage
of GCN controllers (both GCN and Wii games)

I never got to test if the update fixed it because I coudn't obtain IOS249 to
un-stub for CFG

what I wanted to do with this was, well, I wanted to format my system memory so
I could use Opera with cookies, and GCN controllers again,
but having a compy with no networking interface forces me to ask people to send
a download (eg: LetterBomb) somewhere else so I can DL it on my wii (WiiBrowser)

people are bothered when I ask them to do so, so I wanted to downgrade so I
wouldn't have to ask.

but now the crash has bricked my wii, and I can't afford to get a new one D:

I'm currently posting from a friend's wii they let me borrow to hack.

if it's possible to recover my bricked wii, PLEASE let me know.
(even if it involves hard-modding)
