[Bug]: Live Preview image not shown at full quality despite setting to "Full" (Config: "show_progress_type": "Full")

What happened?

Preview image during generation is never "full quality" even if set as full. Compared all settings between my current A1111 setup (latest dev build) and Forge and they all match. Config.json also has "show_progress_type": "Full" for both, but A1111 does what it should and generates/displays the full image during generating - Forge displays a degraded image.

Added system info to OP. I have tested w/ the extension folder removed (no extension aside from built-in) and this issue persisted.

Issue persists after disabling all extensions (including built in) w/ the toggle in Extensions tab.

Preview in small window and preview when made full screen are both low quality in spite of "full" quality being the setting. The grid after generating and the output images are both proper/full quality.

same issue here, i was trying to use an extension that saves intermediate steps, but got into this problem, thanks god it was some inside bug and not something caused by an extension, hope to see this solved

I know you're extremely busy w/ higher priority stuff, but were you ever able to look at this? It's the oldest open bug and I guess I'm just surprised it's a difficult fix. As minor as it is, it's frustrating to not have full quality previews while generating batches.

Sooooo curious if anyone else still deals w/ this issue or if maybe I need a fresh install of Forge?

I'm still unable to get high/normal quality in preview until a batch finishes. I've gotten used to it, but when doing large batches I'd definitely love to be able to see the actual results while processing is still taking place.

If this is an impossible fix due to memory or GRadio 4.0, no prob, would be time to close this then.

I'm having the same problem here. No live preview using Flux. No matter if it's flux1-dev-bnb-nf4-v2 or flux1-dev-fp8, but I have old GTX 1070 with 8 GB VRAM. Maybe that's the issue?

I use GTX 1070 with 8 GB VRAM, live preview window shows progress in SD1.5, doesn't work in Forge2 which show blank during progressing. The 2nd screen shot show I change the setting in forge2 which doesn't work.
