i note that you need to do this to make it work

Add CFNetwork framework
in the description it says createDir = [BRRequestCreateDirectory initWithDelegate: self];

and is createDir = [[BRRequestCreateDirectory alloc] initWithDelegate: self];

you also forgot to close the String with the quotation mark createDir.path = @"/home/user/newdirectory/;
