Phabricator is no longer being actively maintained #44

The Phabricator Github page says:

Effective June 1, 2021: Phabricator is no longer actively maintained.

What should we do about that?

It could be either an opportunity to start planning on the infrastructure needed to be able to migrate to pull-request (for example lack of a "Herald" solution is a still a blocker last time we checked), or we can also "do nothing" (it works, we haven't upgraded for a year so it does not change much for us). There is also a community trying to organize to continue the development, even if only security updates and making it compatible with future PHP release.

Agreed. I'd suggest that we just wait a couple of weeks. I have several internal phabricator instances, which is too not upgrade frequently.

For the security response part, let's wait on the LLVM IWG side and try to get involved in the community of phabricator directly. I personally would try to find some donation or funding for phabricator, if there is any organization willing to accept it.

FYI a possible community fork for Phabricator would be named "Phorge": https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YxQ_JGdhWYPSdoaI_m1TLzwbGLZdtOD7ux2SVL263Ow/edit
