I think the argument "binarised" is described incorrectly, it should be the other way around: if the data is genuinely binarised (lack or presence of a feature) then binarised=True, otherwise (e.g. cognate classes) it should be False. I have tried first following the documentation and used binarised=True for my cognate data, but it shows an error in the prompt.
