Global alignment setting not working

I am attaching a simple program that attempts to use the 
p.align="r"

option as described in the online tutorial:

http://code.google.com/p/prettytable/wiki/Tutorial
(under per-column settings)

However, it looks like the global setting is ignored.
I am using prettytable 0.7.2 installed via easy_install.

The output of the program is given below:
