I waited until after the checkpoint was due, but I still think it's a good idea to make an issue about it because we didn't reach the requirements again. We need to do the XML.
XML: We have more XML documents due since the last checkpoint, but we don't have majority of it done and there's not much else to do until it gets done. I'm gonna list the episodes and what we've done so far.
[completed] Episode 1
[needs revision] Episode 2
[completed] Episode 3
[completed] Episode 4
[needs revision] Episode 5
[completed] Episode 6
[working on:: sd] Episode 7
[needs revision] Episode 8
[working on:: lm] Episode 9
[needs to be done] Episode 10
[needs to be done] Episode 11
[needs to be done] Episode 12
[needs revision] Episode 13
It's not the worse process, but I'm thinking at this rate, we need to carve out time to work on the project and sent a deadline for ourselves. The project will be due soon. Also, we've already talked about this, but some of the transcripts need revision and there's four of them. I'm thinking we make a day out of it and watch teen titans and fix them. Similarly, this should happen sooner rather than later.
Schematron: This was an assignment for the class and we already kind of discussed what each of our own individual ones checked for. It would be good to create a combine one and associate it with the episodes as some point. It's not the biggest priority because we don't have major issues with the mark up, but we can add rules as we go along with marking up the rest of the XML documents. So far, we're only making rules for spelling errors, but I have no other ideas at the moment.
Review: "Review/refine project research question". You mentioned making a more in-depth about page for our website and I think that's the perfect way to refine our project research question. For me, it hasn't changed that much, but more of what we can do with it. I didn't have much ideas for the comics, but we can look into specific markup for comics. It would also help to review what we want to do with the XML documents. I mentioned I want to compare them to the comics and we can describe how we plan to do that in our about page.
Website: Similarly to the XML, they are just checking that there's a significant amount of change occurring on the website. Last time we talked, you said you were working on a SSI for the website. I trust what you're doing, so I'm not too worried about this part of the checkpoint.
That's all for Checkpoint 4! We just need to dedicate time into getting the tedious parts of the project done.
