You will be responsible for guaranteeing the operational conditions of all the systems of the company, including both the customer platforms hosted at partners data centers, hardware installed on clients sites and the internal network and systems used within the company.
The System Support Technician is responsible for systems operational conditions and uptime, and reports to the CTO.
Acts as a technical resource assisting in the use of various hardware and software.
Assesses malfunctions of hardware and/or software applications (server or local machine resident) for the purpose of determining appropriate actions to maintain computer operations.
Installs computer equipment, network (client and server) software and hardware on a variety of platforms (e.g. service packs, application software, operating software, hardware upgrades, etc.) for the purpose of upgrading and maintaining equipment and software.
Timely resolution and escalation of service requests and problems.
Recommendation of changes to systems and applications to prevent future incidents and problems.
Diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair of systems and applications.
Keeps current on latest technologies and applications through training, periodicals, research and development.
