MarkovLib is a library for doing Bayesian Analisis of Ion channels kinetics.
MacroR is a GUI for MarkovLib. MarkovPlot is a library of grafical
representations of data, models and analysis.
So, the question is should MarkovPlot be part of MarkovLib or not?
MacroConsole would be a console version of MarkovLib that can be run on console
environments. In this case it would be possible still to run MarkovPlot if we
store the graphical representations as image files. On the other hand it is
also feasible to run MarkovPlot posteriorly on crude data files, making the
case for not including MarkovPlot in MarkovLib
On the other hand we can think of MarkovLib as a library to be used by other
programs and in this case a good library of graphical representations of
models, data and analysis would be an important component of the library. This
is a almost compelling argument in favor of including MarkovPlot in MarkovLib.
However including MarkovPlot would increase the number of dependencies of
MarkovLib, so we might think of a compromise devising a three chinese box
system like MacroR that has MarkovLib as a part which has MacroConsole as a
part.
