Hello @Roli-Wilhelm @bebatut have you seen this? I'm not very familiar with the conda env. Do we need to change the way we install the R package? I could produce a matching release for both sides (right now the R package is a little ahead in CRAN).
I'm following up on this old issue. I wasn't able to replicate the problem in a fresh conda
environment (I tested both Linux and macOS). Perhaps it was a (now resolved) issue with R?
I'll close this issue as it doesn't appear to be there any longer, but please feel free to reopen if you experience this again.
Hi There,
Installing nonpareil into a fresh conda environment with R-base produces the following error: "/home/roli/anaconda3/envs/nonpareil/lib/R/bin/exec/R: error while loading shared libraries: libiconv.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
Please advise. (this error was replicated in my base conda environment: i.e. user beware)
