Hello, after several attempts (and many blue screens), I finally managed to reinstall LMStudio 0.3.5. It seems that the available disk space was crucial in this resolution (I only had ~10GB free on the C: drive). With 35GB of free space on the OS partition, the installation went smoothly.
Thanks for adding this prerequisite to the documentation. It's no doubt that others will encounter this problem in the future, and it's a bit regrettable to leave this requirement hidden in the background.
Hello,
I am encountering an issue with the installation/update of LM Studio 0.3.5. I accepted the update from 0.3.4 to 0.3.5 offered by the application last night, and it ended with a BSOD (Stop Code: KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR).
Today, I tried to launch LM Studio, but the application no longer starts. So, I downloaded the new version 0.3.5 from the official website, started the installation, and after approximately 80% of the estimated time, I got another blue screen.
After restarting, Windows indicated a problem and initiated a repair of the C: drive.
The PC is a bit old, but the configuration is decent and works perfectly (to be honest, I have never had a BSOD before). System Specifications: Windows 10, Nvidia RTX 3070, 32 GB of RAM.
I am ready to perform the necessary steps if it can help, but I am a bit hesitant to retry an installation of the same version 0.3.5.
Thank you for your insights.
EDIT : I'm adding some information. The application manager indicates 0.3.4 (the version of the previous functional installation) as the installed version. And it is now impossible to uninstall the application. I tried to reinstall the previous version, but only 0.3.1 is available here: https://lmstudio.ai/download
