Issue with Downloading and Searching Models in LM Studio #35

Hi,

I'm experiencing issues with LM Studio on Ubuntu 22.04.

When I try to download a model listed on the landing screen, I get the error: "Download failed: unexpected status code 429".

Additionally, when I try to search for models, I receive the error: "Error searching for models: HTTP error! Status 429".

Hi @distalx can you confirm if you can access https://huggingface.co/ through your web browser?

Two other things to check:

  1. Do you have IPV6 enabled?
  2. Are you with an ISP like Starlink or using any sort of VPN?

I had IPV6 disabled, and enabling it resolved the issue.
