fix for issue #68 #69

fix for issue #68. This should be both Windows and Posix compatible.

Looks like this is only a partial fix, I get the same error with sudo noma lnd create

Since I don't know the code base particularly well yet, would appreciate it if someone could verify this won't break anything and/or compromise some later-intended functionality, then hit the "merge" button. At least on my system, this fix is necessary to run noma.
