Hi!
I'm investigating the possibility of replacing some of our PDH laser locking electronics with a Redpitaya. I'm new to the RP, so before settling on getting one I want to investigate the feasibility.
Essentially, I'd like to make two modifications to the pyrpl setup:
Instead of an external oscillator we want to use one of the asg's for the sideband generation (I guess setting the asg to output to one of the out ports as well as the mixer, ~ 10kHz)
Instead of outputting a correction voltage I want to use one of the asg's to ouput a signal with a correction frequency, 40 MHz + error_level*10 kHz (so it can drive an AOM)
On a scale from "there's a boolean flag in the API for that" to "start shopping for VCOs", how doable is this?
