bad rebuild of .xml files with embedded html tags, causing acore to force close

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. recompiling (even without any modification)any .xml file with embedded html 
tags.
2. problem descovered with Contacts.apk from CM7 rom.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
see attached file (on the left is the original, on the right the recompiled 
one). html tags positions changed. Making a diff of all the contacts.ap´k 
files these positions changes are the only difference.
This make acore to force close, not the app itself.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
latest aapt.exe
problem appears with any apktool version (tried 1.3.1 to 1.4.3) strange ...
win7 x64

Any idea ?

No APK attached, and pretty old Apktool and since this is almost 8 months old. 
I'm going to close.

Re-open w/ APK if need be.
