thanks @konradpa for the first poster draft! some comments:

overall: really like the organization and "sections" of the poster. good idea to put them into gray boxes against a white background so they are clearly differentiated.

some more ideas / comments:

thanks @konradpa for the first poster draft! some comments:

overall: really like the organization and "sections" of the poster. good idea to put them into gray boxes against a white background so they are clearly differentiated.

some more ideas / comments:

  • [x] poster should be all in english
  • [x] add names and affiliations to poster header
  • [x] I think the title should be "Version Control of Code & Data" since this was the official title of the ddlitlab project
  • [x] I think the read of the title block at the top does not work so well with the red of our awesome logo. while I like a strong color for the header, it shouldn't distract too much from the main contents of the poster.
  • [ ] phd comic in "ziele" section: nice, I generally like how you implemented our idea. I would change the layout a bit though that emphasizes the "cleanliness" of tracking changes with git compared to implicit version control. let's brainstorm more together. btw: where is the "source file" for the modified phd comic version? did you also do this with affinity designer?
  • [x] beschreibung: I think it would be nice to have the "schedule" look like a git commit history / git log. I wouldn't necessarily highligh the datalad lecture
  • [x] plot in "participants": the figure might be too small. we can look into this together, but I would try to save the plot as a vector graphic (e.g., pdf or svg) directly from R / ggplot and make it as large as possible.
  • [x] did you look into whether we can use "atkinson hyperlegible" as the font?
  • [x] we should add a small "acknowledgements" section at the bottom to thank a few folks

Thanks for the feedback! I fixed most of the issues you mentioned and added content. Text is in atkinson hyperlegible now as well. Yes I did the comic in Affinity Design as well let's look at it on Monday, did not change it today.

I think we can probably expand the results section and make the outlook section smaller? Let me know what you think of my changes, new version should be on Nextcloud
