preparation for UHH SS24 workshop

in general: let's try to focus on hands-on implementation as possible. this is hard, since we also need to introduce quite a few new concepts. alternatively, we can provide / describe hands-on examples, that people can pick and choose from.

• [x] turn all points in #5, into a task list so we can tick them off more easily
• [x] review and address the points raised in issues #5, #4, #2, #1. we don't have to implement all of them. let's discuss in the issues directly
• [ ] review the materials of this quarto workshop: https://florianpargent.github.io/Quarto_LMU_OSC/ and let's see if we can pick something useful from them. don't forget to credit them properly.
• [ ] if we have time, I think it would be useful to great to create a course website that then hosts the slides from previous workshops, similar to what we do here: https://lennartwittkuhn.com/version-control-course-uhh-ss24/

goals (for this session):

• goal: "render a clean recipes.qmd file to HTML"
• take your recipes folder
• create a neat recipes.qmd file with at least one recipes
• work on a branchc called quarto

goals (at the end of the semester):

• option 1: have a quarto repo that can be turned into a website later
• option 2: create a PR with one recipe in lennart's recipes repository

options:

• rename recipes.txt to recipes.qmd
• use quarto render or Render on Save in RStudio to render the qmd file to HTML
• add markdown syntax
• create a nice recipes.qmd file
• YAML header
• give recommendations on how to write the recipes.qmd file

• email: install quarto
• have your recipes folder ready
• Maybe create example.qmd?
