Thanks @konradpa, very nice! As usual, I made a few more additional changes. I also reverted the section about motivation for Git (see https://github.com/lnnrtwttkhn/version-control-book/pull/246/commits/c4a7eb759ad46e3e91278de523e5e06ff14b13f9) since I want to give this a bit more consideration. But we can later reapply the changes in a separate PR. The rest would be ready to merge now IMO 🚀
