Concretise git functions with research project examples #258

Generally, I would appreciate a concrete context for the functions I learned at the Version Control book. An example could be, how to do version control in a research proposal we students have to write? Imagine we are supposed to write an introduction to a topic we would like to study. We need a couple of days to write it and can learn git while writing different versions of it. I annotate that because sometimes I had the feeling of getting to know a lot of commands without really knowing a context in which I can use them. This feeling arised working until Chapter 7.7
