Reliable messages won't arrive #100

I am sending my message from the server as ReliableOrdered on channel 3. The 
first few messages sent won't arrive, but messages sent later in the same way 
to the same client arrives.

 Putting the thread to sleep for 6 seconds right before the first messages are sent (thus the server is stopped for a short time, before it continues), every message arrive as they should! How can this be?

Do lidgren need to be paused for a while before sending messages? Does it do 
some kind of initialization?

Using the latest revision of lidgren "Lidgren-network-gen3-2011-12-19"

The error has now been found, one of the programmers on my project was 
switching scenes and messages where sent to the last scene....
