I feel like this might take some work to get right but it sounds like an awesome workshop to run touching on a really fascinating bit of technology!
@robtweed in my head there are a couple of things we need to think about:
a dataset/problem that really illustrates the power of using a multi-model database. From looking at the docs something that lets us use the db as a relational db and a noSQL/document database
how much can we scaffold so that the workshop can be focussed and useful (theres currently no support for search-index type things but maybe we could cheat the document database approach into giving us some nice aggregations and stuff?)
how can we give attendees some agency for being creative in the workshop (mostly because this always makes it more fun)
Given that you understand the tech waaaaay better than me - any ideas of the shape of problems it's good for that might show it off nicely?
Logistics:
Location - We can find somewhere to host based on peoples interest - Microsoft reactor or Skills matter could work or maybe hit up a bootcamp like Makers or Founders and Coders.
Beer/Pizza etc - we can reach out to some sponsors but between NearForm, NearSt, IBM and Applied I'm sure we can cover it?
When - ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Length - I guess between 2-3 hours is the aim?
