you won’t be notified for notifications - either push or having an counter on the inbox tab.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
go to the inbox tab
Expected behavior
to be shown at lest a counter of new one and perhaps even to highlight which is a new notification as right now it’s all the same color and hard to judge unless you remember which one was the last notification

iPhone 13 mini, iOS 17.3
