Performance/FPS drops with streets and wires #42

I get strange FPS drops from 60 fps to 30 after placing one street/wire/rail. After six placements it comes down to 4 FPS. Does anyone has ideas why this could happen?

maybe because it's a game made entirely in javascript it won't perform that well in the first place
