1 year ago I actually meant to make this change before making the grimoire release after the discussion in discord, but I forgot. Maybe it's time to increment the major version soon anyway.
This gives users a lot more flexibility in defining the choices used by a task; in particular, it lets us select arbitrary KVPs instead of just assigning arbitrary values to existing keys
