do i need to change the usb pin to bat ?

That’s what I’m wondering as I tried the circuit as drawn and it tripped the current protection on my computer USB port. I tried switching the VBUS line to VBAT but then the battery wouldn’t power the board anymore. Pretty sure I had the circuit right but no joy. Clearly the author got this to work so my only guess is you connect to VBUS but not when the USB cable is connected? Maybe? Can anyone weigh in on how they got it to work? If it’s just that USB can’t be connected, that makes development over USB quite a hassle I think. Anyone?
