Introduction Lobsters need claws to protect them from bad partnerships. The checklist linked below is meant to be a starting point for developing that defense.

Document https://docs.google.com/document/d/13pg_EuroXk8YF0cOS4N_wp-xsTAsitAV1oTBJDnKy5s/edit?usp=sharing

Improvements Feel free to edit the document directly or add comments here or on the document, to improve the checklist.

An idea for improvement could be creating a point system for the different parts of the document, and then making decisions based on that point system.

I'm a fan of starting informally though, and adding / editing things as we see fit from the experiences we have using it.

I like the idea. I'd add something about a project's originality/novelty. I.e. what new things it brings along. Also if there're any lobs in the team.

Good idea! I added the novelty use case under Roadmap and I added whether there's any LOBS in the team under Reputation.

Another LOB had a suggestion to add a section on Security Practices and Governance. So I added them, open to suggestions for those two categories.
