Hey all, from DeSciWorld. We are building to push the culture and create an ecosystem to support "DeSci" as a concept: solving problems in the scientific community through decentralised blockchain solution. DeSciDAO will collate, utilise and deploy funds in the Ethereum ecosystem to help further this goal.

Much like DeFi has begun to revolutionise finance, DeSci will disrupt and improve science.

🦞 What can DeSciWorld contribute to LobsterDAO?

DeSciWorld is working with people in the research field that have yet to interact at all with crypto. Most are completely unaware of the opportunities and communities around in this space. On our server, we have three key sections (research, art, DeFi) and we expect people from all three industries to join and contribute.

LobsterDAO, with it's high level knowledge of crypto and DeFi, would be a perfect place to direct users towards that want to learn more. During a situation in which, for example, our PhD researchers are contributing to DeSciWorld but wanted to join a thriving DeFi community to learn more, we would direct them towards LobsterDAO. Collabs can also include: NFT content airdrops to LOBS holders; LobsterDAO research grant proposals; featured partners in DeFi; leveraging connections that we garner for LobsterDAO's benefit.

I can hardly understand what the project is going to do. To promote crypto to sci ppl? How exactly? To give out 'scientific research' grants? Tough task, tbh. 'To solve problems' looks too generic. Probabaly, I should dig deeper in their discord, etc. But the above description is not very encouraging, so to say.
