I could not understand how to use the new version of this plugin. #550

So I was trying to upgrade the background remover and wound up installing the new plugin which is way worse. It no longer allows me to select the background color and shows up under effect filter rather than audio/video filters. The contouring is way off and the plugin is removing parts of my head and shoulders. No tweaking of the setting is working to show my entire head and I had to cancel a video I was gonna make with a partner project today. I have tried for 2 hours to find a way to get this to look right. I put up a green screen too and that didnt help at all. What can I do to fix this?

@avnartyhavstrivakal first - i'm sorry to hear this has become worse for you. we also have our Discord channel where we can provide more real-time help https://discord.gg/fVZ8ycj9 with the new plugin we don't allow selecting the background color - you can simply add a "Color Source" or "Image Source" behind the camera You can try other models like Robust Video Matting which are more accurate, you may also want to try the TCMonoDepth model and change the threshold let's connect on discord

Yes. I found my original download it the old version and reinstalled it. The new version is shit compared to it. Hope I never need to update

It is what it is. The new update ruined the program for me. So to me it's shit. If you prefer people didn't tell you what they think because it hurts your feelings then how will you know when they don't like it? Just food for thought. I stand by my assessment. The new update is awful. The background remover is ruined in the new version. Hope you get over your feelings and consider working to make it better
