Interesting idea. Roughly speaking this would require:

[ ] allowing a Video instance without a camera_config property to perform get_frames.
[ ] performing get_piv directly on extracted frames using pixel distances on x, y axis rather than meter
[ ] adapting Masks perhaps to recognize that pixel distances are applied and use other defaults for things like velocity masking

Thoughts? Any chance you have time to make a fork and get this implemented @Shen001 ? We currently have little band width.
