Auto inject - was how things used to be. The onboarding handled making changes to the code snippet. Then the code was auto-injected to the theme.
App blocks - now we move the UI editing into the theme editor. but this is not backward compatible with Storefront 1.0. We will need to provide documentation to the merchant to tell them how to install the app.
We must submit with app blocks, we cannot submit with auto-inject according to Shopify.
Plan is to submit the app as App Blocks. We know upon install if they are on 2.0 or 1.0.
