"service type" field on Election content type #16

I'm showing my ignorance of elections here, but even with the help text, I'm not sure what the "Service type" field on the Election does.

The URL and link text are prefilled, so perhaps these could be hidden on the form?

To be honest, I think this could be removed, it is historical from the first iteration.
