So extending https://www.rbkc.gov.uk/rbkc-digital-services/how-website-structured we were discussing _contentpages being put classified into topics; and _landingpages with topics referenced.

The question then arises about certainly step-by-step, and possibly guides and more. Is the _contentpage which is "focussed on helping people accomplish [a] task[] and find specific information" the overview page, or the page with in it.

It feels like it would make less sense to drop people into a step-by-step page, but the overview. That's the task you want to achieve and these are the steps.

The guides. I'm not sure. How do they differ from as service sublanding page?

Campaigns, directories, documents we've not yet reviewed.

Hi @ekes Tom might have a different view, but I think services should only surface Guide and Step by Step landing pages

Take this guide page as an example

https://new.croydon.gov.uk/adult-health-and-social-care/travel-passes-and-support/blue-badges

We would only surface Blue Badges, not Blue Badge fraud - it's too detailed. We might use a task button to link to https://new.croydon.gov.uk/adult-health-and-social-care/travel-passes-and-support/blue-badges/apply, but only if it is 1) extremely popular 2) users don't need to read all the other guide pages before applying

Hope this helps a little

For services this is set up. For Topics it certainly feels the case for Step-By-Step (you don't land into a step-by-step process), is it also the case for a Guide though?
