As a parent, I'd also put in a plug to make the activism training inclusive of families and perhaps provide a variety of teaching methods to address various age groups.
I say this because I'm a firm believer in teaching kids the importance of history, nature, and the built environment as a future-minded strategy for preservation. Thoughts?
I like the idea of including suggested age levels for each lesson. There are probably some lessons for adults that would also work well for teenagers. I'd love to see a review of what K-12 educational resources on historic preservation are already available.
Do we have a recommended pedagogy for lessons on the site? How do we explain that pedagogical approach to contributors or workshop participants? This question is related to issue #22 and #20.
We need to talk about who the audience for the lessons may be and how they learn.
