Make sure that the wifi is configured as "private" (not public wifi). Alternatively, you can try to disable the firewall on your PC to see if the firewall blocks this.

I added a rule in my firewall to allow the default port in. I activated the automatic fix. I made local send an exception to the firewall. I even tried transferring files via the link to my computer. This works fine with the iPad. The computer can detect and receive files from my iPad. The iPhone SE cannot send files to the ipad…I didn’t test that via links though with iPhone -> iPad file transfer.
Wifi is already private.
Umm so it started working. I cut off all firewalls and then cut all firewalls on again (on my pc I changed nothing on my iPad.) Now my tablet and pc can be seen. I'm not sure what happened. Before you close this I hope to see exactly what went wrong. Because this bug exists. I know it will prevent users from keeping the app. Envahisseur on the Localsend discord had the same issue as me.
Describe the bug
On my iPhone SE, Localsend cannot send files to other devices. I use a Lenovo Ideapad 5i (Windows), an iPhone, and a iPad 6th gen. iPad and computer can send and receive files fine, but the iPhone can only receive files not send them. The nearby device simply does not appear in the window. When I try to use a hashtag/ip to identify devices, there’s an orange message saying, “Error,” on the bottom left corner of the pop-up.
To reproduce
Expected behavior
The iPhone can send and receive files. The nearby device should be swiftly detected and I should be able to transfer files easily. Just like Airdrop.
