Repo status #185

Hi,

Can we get some information on whether or not this server repo has any plans of being maintained?

Is there blockers? Do you need a new maintainer for this repo? Are you planning to concentrate on a cloud offering for the server component? It's fine if that's the plan but please let devs know what's going on as the client side repo is being maintained but not server side repo - it is causing confusion.

I don't mind maintaining this library by merging PRs and releasing versions - I don't have much capacity for issue triage and development but i think the community can handle that as is.
