:+1: I could register for the conference. :-1: I couldn't generate a pdf with my registration details.

:-1: I can't figure out how to submit a talk..

Amymcdougall commented 6 years ago

I could register for a conference (whatever the test one I used is). I could generate a pdf with my registration on, and I could view it there.

I could submit a talk, I could edit this talk, however, I can't view much on the status as I need to add a commercial - 'If you don't add a commercial, the conference commercial will be displayed!' But I can see an orange bar that tells me 'Complete proposal - 2left'.

The Commercials are basically small vids people can add about their talk - for some conferences this is common practice. We should look at whether they can be easily hidden/disabled in future.

For checking the status, someone will need to log in as an admin and do the Manage Speaker Submission work - i.e. accept and reject some talks - before you're able to check. Talks can be accepted without the full set of info being completed by the speaker.
