Data won't persist across snapshots #2

Is this correct? Is there a way to work around this?

If I my understanding is right, once permanodes are out, this should no longer be an issue.

Exactly right! I answered the question over here already: https://github.com/loehnertz/Tanglestash/issues/1#issuecomment-354498782 But you are right that permanodes can fix that problem!
