[x]Error fialed to open mon0 for capturing #502

Hi guys this may be a very common question but my wifi chip is on monitor mode, 
I'm running xubuntu 12.04 and realtek rtl8188cu i'm using 
aircrack-ng_1.1-1.1build1_amd64.deb and reaver-1.4.tar.gz, I'm able to turn my 
chip into monitor mode, But when I type -I wash mon0 it gives me the famous [x] 
error failed to open mon0 for capturing here is a screen shot of me 
disconnecting my wi-fi chip after the said error.

Here also it occurs,
  always run airodump before of wash. try...

hey guys i just turned mon0 on and works 100%
