Would it be possible to specify the restoring beam for the final facet imaging? I know this can be done in wsclean with the beamshape option and it seems possible to implement in factor.
I ask because I have a case where the psf is not very Gaussian at all, having a central peak and broad wings. wsclean (like any imager) fits a very broad 17." x 8.0", pa ~ 90 Gaussian, whereas fitting only to the central part gives a 8.7" x 8.0", pa ~ 0 Gaussian which is arguably a better restoring beam to use.
